Angelica Panganiban Unaffected by Derek Rumors

Sultry actress Angelica Panganiban has finally broken her silence regarding the rumored girlfriend of her boyfriend, actor Derek Ramsay, in Dumaguete and his alleged romance with a Sexbomb member.

In an interview with “Showbiz News Ngayon” before Panganiban left for the Star Magic Tour in the States, the actress said she and Ramsay were both shocked when the rumors surfaced.

“Nagulat kaming dalawa kasi noong lumabas daw ‘yong balitang ‘yon, nasa Boracay daw siya talaga. So sobrang imposibleng mangyari na may pinuntahan daw nga siyang girl,” she related.

Panganiban said Ramsay even asked her to look for a picture of the Sexbomb girl in the Internet to know what she looks like.

“Pinahanap niya sa akin sa Internet kung ano ang hitsura ni Aifa kasi baka mamaya kilala pala niya. Sobrang friendly ni Derek. So noong nakita niya ang picture, gulat na gulat siya. ‘Hindi ko kilala iyan,’” she said.

According to Panganiban, the issue did not bother her at all. “No. Noong nakita namin ang picture, wala deadma,” she said.

Despite all the issues, Panganiban said she is still excited to go to America.

“Sobra kasi hindi lang siyempre makakapagbigay kami ng saya at makakapag-reach out kami sa mga kababayan natin sa America, siyempre kami may mga kamag-anak rin kami doon so parang magiging parang family reunion din siya,” she quipped.

Panganiban said her US-based biological father is going to watch the Star Magic Tour in New York.

Meanwhile, the actress also said that she is already expecting a number of rumors to surface now that she and Ramsay are apart this coming Holy Week.

“Yes. Sanay na ako. Para na nga lang akong sounding board ng mga taong walang magawa sa buhay. Paulit ulit na lang siya. Para na lang deja vu ang lahat ng intriga sa akin. Lahat naman ng ibinabato nilang tsismis at intriga, maganda naman ang ibinabalik sa akin ni Lord,” said Panganiban.
